About

About Natosha

From a young age, I had a strong determination to be a performer. Yes, this meant many rehearsals leading up to the big performance at the upcoming family get together (which I took VERY seriously). This decisive attitude blossomed into a strong work ethic of a passionate performer and lover of theatre. I grew up in central Wisconsin and received my Bachelors of Arts degree in Theatre and Dance at Luther College.

My first real on stage experience was through Academie de la Danse in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, where I took lessons for 11 years, continuing dance at Rapids School of Performing Arts for 4 more years.  My first musical was "Mary Poppins" in which I played the Bird Woman and a tap sweep. As well as musical theatre and dance, I have a passion for opera and choral music.

My senior honors project concluding my degree at Luther was a fully self-produced production of Jason Robert Brown's "The Last Five Years". I directed and choreogthe cast, designed costumes, lighting and set, and performed as Cathy. I loved taking on such a large role in the process of the show and found it the most rewarding experience. You'll find several photos throughout the site of the production.

As a performer, I value my ability to communicate honestly about what I have to offer to the performance, rehearsals, and community.  I am a strong singer, actor, and dancer.  But more importantly, I'm kind, honest, vulnerable, and quite funny (and that's not a joke, I really am quite funny) and in turn, I value those traits just as much as talent in the workspace.

Besides performing, I also have a love for the technical side of theatre (lighting emphasis), photography, painting, Greta Van Fleet, cats (the pet not the musical. Although I am fond of both), and a great appreciation for my friends and family.
